AUSTRALIAN SUPERYACHTS
Built by mariners. Trusted by owners. Respected by captains and crew.
OUR STORY
Founded in 1999 by Captain Richard Morris, a second-generation Master Mariner, Australian Superyachts has helped shape Australia’s modern superyacht industry. From managing Sydney Superyacht Marina during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games to pioneering charter management, destination development and industry-leading compliance systems, we’ve built our reputation by doing the work. Our team has served as captains and crew aboard private and commercial yachts throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, South Pacific, Antarctica, Southeast Asia and some of the world’s most remote cruising destinations.
ESTABLISHED 1999
Australian Superyachts combines more than 25 years of maritime experience with global charter access, professional management, yacht agency and sales support. Founded by Master Mariner Captain Richard Morris, our advice is grounded in firsthand command, survey, charter and operational experience—not simply in the transaction.

LET’S START A CONVERSATION
Whether you’re planning your next voyage or looking for a trusted long-term partner, we’d love to help.
The company positions itself as being run by mariners rather than salespeople. Its team holds an AMSA Unlimited Master Mariner certificate and AMSA Surveyor accreditation, and Australian Superyachts states it is the only Australian superyacht management company holding an AMSA Document of Compliance. This qualification lets it act as Company and Designated Person Ashore for commercial and Regulated Australian Vessel (RAV) operations.
Vessel management covers 24/7 Designated Person Ashore (DPA) support, crew employment and management, flag state liaison and registration, safety management system (SMS) implementation and audit, planned maintenance oversight, voyage planning, budgeting and financial reporting, insurance coordination, provisioning, logistics, and in-port support throughout Australia and the South Pacific.
Yes. Australian Superyachts arranges yacht charters throughout Australia and the South Pacific, as well as international destinations worldwide. As a MYBA member since 2015, the company has access to a global network of vetted brokers, central agents and vessels, helping clients with yacht sourcing, contract review, APA guidance, itinerary planning and in-destination logistics.
The process follows four steps: Enquire, where guests share their dates, guest numbers and the trip they are picturing; Match, where the team shortlists suitable yachts and crews with honest guidance; Plan, where the itinerary, preferences, contract and APA are settled; and Embark, when guests board with the team on call throughout.
The team can be reached by phone, WhatsApp, or via the enquiry form on the site, with separate direct contacts for charter, management and ISM, and yacht agency and crew visa enquiries so the message reaches the right specialist team.
