MY FLYING FISH  is berthed at The Reef Marina Berth #F7, 44 Wharf St, Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia and awaits you and your charter guests.

Private helicopter transfers from Cairns Airport to the marina or to meet the yacht out on the reef via its own helipad are available.

The Reef Marina is approximately a beautifully tropical one hour drive north of Cairns International Airport, following the Captain Cook Highway to the Port Douglas Road turn-off, connecting to Wharf Street.

Departing from Port Douglas Marina, you will be welcomed on board by our friendly crew before enjoying a light breakfast while we cast off and cruise to the stunning Mackay Reef. On arrival, you will be able to disembark the vessel and explore the secluded sand cay and surrounding reef on kayaks, paddleboards or by snorkelling.

Back on board, a light lunch will be will be served while we cruise to Escape Reef. Escape Reef is the perfect spot for an afternoon of snorkelling, fishing and other available water sport activities. Then sit back and watch the sun set over the horizon while sipping champagne with canapés on the upper fly deck before dinner in the main saloon.

The following day we will spend the entire day exploring Escape Reef.  A popular fishing spot, you can throw a line in and try for Giant Trevally’s, Coral Trout, Yellowfin, plus a wide variety of reef species. All meals, snorkelling, fishing activities and water sports can be enjoyed at your own leisure. After a full day, relax on deck watch the sunset with evening drinks followed by dinner.

Day 3 – Dive in the beautiful blue water for a morning swim before we depart for North Opal Reef, enjoying breakfast on the way. Arrive at North Opal to enjoy magnificent snorkelling in crystal clear waters along the north reef wall. Here you’ll see an abundance of reef fish, soft and hard corals and possibly some lagoon rays. Fishing, snorkelling and water sport activities to be enjoyed at your leisure for the remainder of the afternoon or simply relax on deck and soak up the Queensland sunshine. Dine on the day’s catch, enjoying the culinary delights prepared by our chef for dinner.

Take a morning snorkel with the local, big and beautiful Maori wrasse that populate the reef. After breakfast we’ll head to the south end of Opal Reef for more snorkelling before our departure to Tongue Reef. Here we’ll enjoy lunch and one last snorkel where you’ll see green sea turtles, giant clams as well as a variety of reef fish as well as soft and hard corals. Relax in the afternoon as we leisurely cruise back to Port Douglas before disembarking the vessel.
