Why Charter Indonesia
- Vast Island Network
- Exceptional Marine Life
- Remote Anchorages
- Diverse Cruising Grounds
- Rich Local Culture
- Adventure-Focused Routes
Indonesia’s extensive archipelago combines volcanic islands, coral reef systems, remote anchorages and established regional gateways.
Indonesia is one of Southeast Asia’s principal expedition-style cruising destinations, with thousands of islands spread across several distinct marine environments. Bali and Lombok provide international connections, provisioning and access to nearby island routes. Labuan Bajo is the principal gateway to Komodo National Park, where yachts can cruise between volcanic islands, wildlife areas, beaches and dive sites. Raja Ampat provides a more remote operating environment, with extensive reef systems, forested islands and limited shore-based infrastructure.
Charter Region
Bali is an established arrival and departure point for yachts operating through central and eastern Indonesia. Port access is available through Benoa, with nearby road connections to southern Bali, Denpasar and the island’s principal cultural areas. Guests can visit Uluwatu Temple on the Bukit Peninsula and continue to the beaches and coastal precincts of southern Bali. Denpasar provides access to museums, markets and government-era architecture, while Sanur has longstanding connections with fishing, coastal trade and tourism. Longer shore programmes can include the temple complexes, galleries and cultural institutions around Ubud, subject to road travel times from the port. Bali can also be used as a staging point for passages towards Nusa Penida, Lombok, the Gili Islands and Nusa Tenggara. Port formalities, vehicle transfers and site access should be confirmed in advance, particularly during religious festivals, public holidays and busy seasonal periods.
Indonesia offers an immense island landscape where remote anchorages, diverse cultures, and remarkable marine life create a charter experience unlike anywhere else.
From Bali and the Komodo Islands to Raja Ampat, Indonesia rewards exploration with secluded bays, thriving reefs, dramatic landscapes, and distinctive communities spread across thousands of islands.
