DAY 1
Join the yacht at the marina bays located around the edge of the city centre. After a lunch on the aft deck and making yourself at home, sight see the many attractions around the city. You can even walk the harbour bridge. Late afternoon depart the marina for an anchorage 30 minutes away, dinner on board taking in the lights of the city.
DAY 2
Sail along the east coast, following the trail of beaches until you reach Palm Beach. Take a tender excursion around the bay, lunch at one of the many restaurants on the water, cruise back to meet the yacht at a different anchorage for the night.
DAY 3
Spend the day on the harbour and go ashore for a show at the Opera House or at one of the many theatres.
DAY 4
Depart Pittwater and proceed up the Hawksbury River to a totally isolated bay, distance five miles. Explore the interior by tender and shore. You will have the chance to see Aboriginal art along the rock face, learn about Australia’s indigenous culture while weaving your way through the mangroves. Remain the evening surrounded in bush and calm water.
DAY 5
Move to one of the other anchorages up the Hawksbury and explore by tender the upper reaches of the river. Lunch at a riverside café and then return to the yacht for the evening.
DAY 6
Take a leisurely cruise back to the Pittwater area for lunch. Afternoon departure for Sydney Harbour, and anchor or berth at one of the marinas for a night out on the town.
DAY 7
Spend your final brunch on board the aft deck before saying goodbye to the most beautiful harbour in the world.
